Jacob turned 7 a couple weeks ago. Since it was Memorial Day, we just had a family party. We gave him some gifts: a puzzle of the US, a bunch of books, clothes, Star Wars the Clone Wars video game, and a box of my Lego's from my childhood. He loves the Legos and the game.

We had a friend party for him the following Friday. He chose to have a Star Wars theme, and kids could dress up if they wanted to. They watched an episode of The Clone Wars and ate "Tatooine Cuisine."

Xan dressed up as Yoda, and loved having a light saber war with the other kids.

Jacob has been wanting a double light saber for a long time, and had been saving his money for one. He got one from his friend James.

He also got some gift cards and money for his birthday so he bought...

More Lego's! He got two new Lego sets, Star Wars, of course, and used some of his money to help his brother buy a double light saber. I thought it was so sweet that he would use his own money to help Micah buy something.
I am so proud of Jacob. He is such a good boy. He is helpful, kind and caring. He is smart too. He is doing so well in school. I can't believe that he is already seven years old! We are so grateful to have him in our family! We love you Jacob!

Happy Birthday Jacob!
How fun! That is awesome that you saved your legos from growing up. My mom still has a huge box at her house from when we were little, but there is no way we are getting those. ;) Happy birthday Jacob!
And by the way, Xan is adorable as Yoda!!
7 is such a great age! One more year until he's baptized!!!
I love that Jacob helped Micah buy something! Your boys are so sweet, we miss them alot. Hopefully we get down there soon and Savannah can come and play.
