For dinner on Christmas Eve we went to my parents. All the cousins were there and they acted out the Nativity. The kids were so reverent and adorable.

Two of my nieces played Christmas music on the flute and violin to accompany the Nativity reenactment.

Now that is a huge mint brownie!
After dinner we went home to do our Christmas Eve tradition of opening new pajamas, and coloring in a giant "T'was the Night Before Christmas" coloring book.
We also gave Xan his first sugar cookie, with frosting. Even though it was a small one, it gave him a huge sugar rush and he was crazy and bouncing around the whole night.

Your Christmas Eve Nativity play actually seems like it was a joy to experience! Even through the photos I can tell the kids were reverent. Amazing. How do you do it?
